LIFT EVERY VOICE is JA-WA Productions, community based, Theatrical Workshop that deals with the issues of inner city concerns. We bring together like minded people of all ages, gender and ethnicity, teaching them the art of performing and articulating, in an effort to stage productive stories of truth, that speak to their struggles and challenges. Our main goal is to inspire and motivate a spirit of self confidence, self esteem and positiveness. These original, creative renditions are written and produced by Director, Beatrice Watson, with an annual presentation, on or around Black History month, at various venues throughout Chicago. Our future goal is to branch out into film, in order to reach a more diverse and broader audience.
